New England Early 19th c.

Charming proportions and small size - early 19th c. New England pine doughbox. Two board scrub top, canted, dovetailed and mortised box, side board ends with queen anne side cuts, great mop wear to bottom of feet. Soulful dark natural patina on exterior of doughbox. Old utilitarian worked clean on inside with small stain. Overall very good as descended condition. Lid 40 x 18 1/2 inches - Bottom width of box 32 inches. Width at feet 24 inches. Top depth of box - 15 inches. Depth of feet 14 inches.
