SIGNED TREEN PLATE
New England ,  18th c

Rare 18th c. New England treen plate, signed “Anna Osgood” on the underside of plate. Lovely worn patina, with nice shrinkage, minor tight age crack on edge only. Descended in the Danvers, Ma area. The Osgood family are well known in America as being defendants of those involved in the Salem and other Ma. towns and villages. Old private collection.

Diameter: 7-7 1/2 inches.
